I had the pleasure of covering the 10th Annual Go Red for Women Luncheon. Sponsored by Macy’s, this wonderful event hosted over 400 guests from all over Orlando. Courageous survivors brought their stories of how heart disease affected their lives and gave us inspiration to lead a healther lifestyle. Since heart disease and stroke is the No. 1 killer of women, we can all put to good use the tips that we learned at the luncheon.
I had so much fun meeting all of the women who came out to support the fight against heart disease. This was my first time attending, but it definitely won’t be the last. If you missed this year’s fabulous event, you still have a chance to make a change by visiting GoRedForWomen.org
