All shooters are work-for-hire. Epiphany Image LLC maintains copyright to all images and/or footage taken. All shooters are to refer to the official independent contractor's contractual agreement. Below is an outline and terms and conditions. This agreement is made and entered into this date, by and between Epiphany Image LLC and the Independent contractor/second-shooter listed above. Terms of Agreement: This agreement shall continue in effect until the shoot date as written blow under (Event Information) or: ● Canceled by Epiphany Image LLC as set forth in this agreement ● Completion of the shoot date associated ● 35-day written cancellation notice provided by independent contractor Compensation: Shooter shall be compensated for the corresponding date of service based on the outline written under “Event Information” below Cancellation: Shooter must provide at least 35-day notice prior to the listed event/shoot date. This notice must be sent to nathalie@epiphany-image.com and will result in immediate forfeiture of any deposits/prepayments made to the shooter. Failure to perform: In the event of failure or refusal of shooter to perform shooter’s obligations under this agreement (other than failure to perform for reasons beyond shooter’s control - i.e. sickness or death of family member), the speaker is responsible for the cost of their compensation (based on the role associated with booking) minimum $150.00 / maximum $400.00 fee due to specific contractual agreement as outlined between Epiphany Image LLC and the associated client with booking. This payment or refund must be made before the first day of the shoot-date. No exceptions. Risk: Shooter shall perform services stated in the contractual agreement and email associated with corresponding bookings. Speaker shall indemnify and hold harmless Epiphany Image LLC from any loss, liability damage or expense arising in any way (to the speaker) from the shooter’s performance of service. Promotion: Shooter(s) agree not to promote their own business while working with/for Epiphany Image LLC. This includes, but is not limited to sharing business cards, sharing of contact information (shooter agrees to send any parties inquiring about their services to Epiphany Image LLC and/or Nathalie Gaines). Activity of this type of behavior is considered breach of contraction. Do’s 1. Arrive on time 2. File Formats (minimum Raw1 for pre-wedding & reception / Raw for ceremony and formal portraits) 3. Sync Cameras with your first-shooter 4. Dress in professional attire that will not distract from the event. Typically all black is sufficient. (No excessive cleavage or skin should be visible) 5. Carry your gear and keep it in a safe/secure space that will not clutter or get in the way of the event. 6. *Extra* Make attempts to get individual portraits of the parents of the couple as well as photos of the elders in attendance. 7. Prep for special moments in advance (first look, first kiss, walk down the isle, etc.) 8. Test your equipment and ensure that everything needed to shoot is with you before the wedding/shoot date. 9. Give credit to main photographer if photos are posted publicly and list your role as second-shooter Don’ts 1. Get in the first shooter’s line of sight 2. Post images before the main shooter. 3. Stand behind the shooter It is best to stand at a different angle so that our shots look different 4. Use Flash unless necessary (especially if the main shooter is not using flash) 5. Offer your professional services to guest 6. Check your phone in front of guests 7.
